The Goshen asteroid mining facilities in the Goshen Belt, also known to the locals as "The Labor Belt" is a ring of asteroids and debris around the star that separates the middle system from the Exo. Goshen is home to precious crystals that much of the advanced technology is dependent on. The belt was formally a large planet, Goshen, that was the last opposing power to the Sovereign. After decades of trade wars and five years of shooting war, in the year 3099 Sovereign forces destroyed the planet to solidify power and squash any further thoughts of rebellion. The very few survivors of planet Goshen were spread across the Exo and their descendants still live there today. Now labor populations live in the belt to mine the precious Farsei crystals, an ore unique to Goshen, which had given the rebellious planet its political, economic trade and technological power.
