Io holds a special place in the heart of traditional Arcturians because the moon holds an uncanny amount of similarities to its Sol System namesake. Like Io of the Sol System, Io Arcturus is an unusually dense moon with a large tidal heating effect. Also like Sol Io which was the first Sol moon to produce enough agricultural product to supply other colonies, Arcturus Io has immense agricultural platforms that use the heat, carbon dioxide and nutrients produced from the tidal heat volcanic activity along with a nearly perfect closed water cycle system. The most prized produce in the system are grown on Io.
